In October 2017, Dr. Rushika Fernadopulle, Co-Founder and CEO of Iora Health and Clinical Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, came to New Haven to serve as the Yale Visiting Professor in Primary Care, sponsored by the Yale Office-based Medicine Curriculum. Iora is an innovative model that aims to improve the delivery of care through team-based care, improved patient participation, and alignment of financial incentives. He met with health professional students, residents, faculty, and leadership from clinical administration and population health. He presented the Stephen J. Huot Lecture in Primary Care for the Department of Medicine Grand Rounds.
